ça sera donc le 8 decembre si certains vont aux etats unis, ou bien ça passera peut etre a la tv, du moins surement en streaming par internet ;-)

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf have invited some impressive company to join them for the second annual Genworth Children's Advantage Tennis Classic.

James Blake, the eighth-ranked player on the ATP Tour and a quarterfinalist at the U.S. Open, and Lindsay Davenport, winner of three Grand Slam titles and a former No. 1 player in the world, will complete the four-player exhibition field.

On Dec. 8 at Virginia Commonwealth University's Siegel Center, the husband-wife team of Agassi and Graf will play Blake-Davenport in an eight-game, mixed doubles pro set, followed by a best-of-three-sets singles match between Agassi and Blake.

The first match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets, ranging from $35 to $125, go on sale today at the Siegel Center and TicketMaster outlets.

Agassi, 36, retired from the pro tour following his third-round loss to Benjamin Becker at the U.S. Open earlier this month. Graf won 22 major singles titles before retiring in 1999.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Richmond-area charities serving at-risk youth. Last year's exhibition, featuring Agassi, Graf, Anna Kournikova and Andy Roddick, sold out well before the night of the matches. -- John Packett

j espere vraiment que la télé montrera cette evenement

en france, il y a malheureusement aucune chance. Par contre c'est jouable de trouver ue chaine americaine qui le retransmet en streaming

The recently retired Andre Agassi returned to tennis for one night at the weekend, at an exhibition in Santiago, Chile. He played against another former World No. 1, local idol Marcelo Rios, who defeated Agassi 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.

The event took place at a full Arena Santiago, an indoor court with a capacity of 13,000.

Before the event, Agassi had a busy agenda. On Thursday, he gave a press conference and later had an hour of practice with Chile’s Olympic gold medalist Nicolas Massu, At night, he attended a cocktail hosted by Craig Kelly, US Ambassador to Chile. On Friday morning, and in complete privacy, he held two tennis clinics, one for some of the best Chilean junior players, and another one for wheelchair players.

This was Agassi’s first match folloiwng his retirement at last year's US Open.

Agassi said: “I am honored to be here and enjoy Santiago. I congratulate Marcelo (Ríos) for his great level of play. Six months ago, when I retired, I promised I would return to play with him."

Ríos said: “This is one of the exhibitions that I have enjoyed most. We are two retired players, obviously the level is not the same as when we were professionals, but playing three sets at this level says that we can still do something on the court”.
